| cPanel DNS Only 128 Overview For just £4.99 a month we can provide secondary dns for cPanel hosting companies and resellers. cPanel DNS Only VPS using cPanel dns clustering will pick up all zones from your cPanel/WHM server. Do register your nameserver with your domain registrar. This VPS is unmanaged, and you will be given root password. All our VPSs have yum installed or apt-get, aptitude for debian and ubuntu. cPanel DNS Only VPS is pre-installed on CentOS 5.2, cPanel dns clustering will make sure that all zones are current. This VPS package targets exclusively service providers with cPanel/WHM. cPanel DNS Only VPS cPanel DNS Only allows you to run a DNS server which will be automatically updated by any servers that you link to it running the cPanel Server Suite. cPanel DNS Only is meant to be used on standalone DNS servers only which have no previous content on them. We do not impose any restrictions on the number of requests or zones, your only limit is capacity of the VPS which we can always upgrade. During registration you will be asked to provide hostname, if your primary dns name is ns0.domain.com give it ns1.domain.com you will be also asked for two dns servers in the first box your primary and secondary dns server host name like ns0 and ns1 in the second. Using DNS Clustering in WebHost Manager, cluster will be created between your cPanel DNS Only VPS and any server(s) running the cPanel/WHM. This means that any DNS changes made on your cPanel server will be sent to your secondary DNS server. |
